Anna Geiger, WHNP-BC

Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

“For patients encountering challenges with reproductive health, especially those with a new cancer diagnosis looking at surgical, medical or radiation therapy on the horizon, I want to be a source of support, empathy and expertise.   Each patient’s circumstance is unique, and ultimately my goal is to help empower them with an understanding of their reproductive health, honor their goals, and to give back a sense of control that often feels lost on these journeys.”

Anna Geiger (she/her/hers) joins the practice as a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of nursing experience.  She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her master’s degree in women’s health with a minor in oncology.  She spent the last five years as a nurse practitioner in gynecologic medical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.  Her specialized degrees and prior experience at one of the premier cancer centers in the nation has fostered a passion for oncofertility preservation.

Anna will also support those patients seeking fertility preservation for non-cancer-related indications including elective indications and those seeking gender-affirming hormone use. Furthermore, she will be a part of the team supporting our patients as they travel through their infertility, fertility and/or miscarriage journeys.

She is relatively new to the Midwest so welcome her and don’t forget to tell her about all the cool things STL has to offer!
